Attention active students!
Through a partnership with the Skil Foundation, we are proud to announce Peak’s participation in the Skil Scholarship awards. If you are currently involved in one or more school directed extra-curriculars you could recieve $1,000.00 to continue your educational pursuits.
The Skil Scholarship is not limited to student athletes.
Any student who participates in a school extra curricular is eligible!
Scholarship Details
In conjunction with the Skil Foundation, Peak is participating in the award of five (5) $1,000.00 non-reoccurring scholarships for the school year 2022 to current students who are involved in a school directed extra-curricular. No other qualifications are needed. Awardees are picked at random from the eligible applicants.
Application Timeline
- Skil Foundation Board of Review Date: Must be on or before February 10, 2022.
- Application Portal Open: June 1, 2021 through February 12, 2022.
- Application Must be Completed and Submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on February 12, 2022.
- Announcement of Scholarship Awards: May 10, 2022.
Eligibility
- Students may apply for Skil scholarships beginning in their senior year of high school and, if not selected, may re-apply through their junior year in college.
- Recipients may receive a Skil scholarship one time only.
- Skil scholarships are available to students attending four-year colleges or universities, community colleges, vocational trade schools, and other approved programs.
- Skil scholarships are available to students attending any of the U.S. military academies.
Award Conditions
- Awardee must be an active member in one or more school directed extra-curricular.
- Awardee will register, maintain, and provide the Skil Foundation with proof of full-time status at his or her academic institution as well as proof of extra-curricular activity.
- Awardee may have part-time status at their academic institution.
- All funds will be paid directly to the awardee’s selected college/university/trade school for tuition, room, board, and / or books.
- Awardees must attend a college/university/trade school that is accredited by recognized accreditation agencies.
- The Skil Foundation will submit payment to the selected college/university/trade school upon receipt of an itemized bill and college transcript verifying the awardee’s status.
